hereby gives notice that a

Regular Meeting

will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 – 8:00 a.m. The Public will have physical access to the Board Meeting Room be no later than 7:45 a.m.

1.)      Call to Order

2.)      PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES DISTRICT – the Board of Supervisors will convene as the Board of Directors of the Greenlee County Public Health Services District   and will reconvene as the Board of Supervisors following consideration of these items:

1. Consent Agenda
2. Clerk of the Board: Consideration of approval of Public Health Services District expense warrants in excess of $1,000.00

3.)      FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT – the Board of Supervisors will convene as the Board of Directors of the Greenlee County Flood Control District and will reconvene as the Board of Supervisors following consideration of these items:

1. Consent Agenda
2. Clerk of the Board:  Consideration of approval of Flood Control District

expense warrants in excess of $1,000.00

4.)       Jean Schwennesen, Engineer Department

1. Information: Introduction of the AmeriCorps Team coming to Greenlee County to build rock dams in the Franklin/Duncan Watershed

5.)      Reed Larson, County Engineer

1. Discussion/Action to consider awarding a bid to Hughes Supply for corrugated high density polyethylene storm drainpipe for the grant-funded airport drainage project.
2. Discussion/Action to request authorization to apply to the offices of Arizona’s Congressional Delegation for congressionally directed spending to fund the design of a project to realign approx. 1,400 feet of Ward Canyon Road at the Loma Linda Wash.
3. Discussion/Action to request authorization to apply to the offices of Arizona’s Congressional Delegation for congressionally directed spending to fund the design of a project to realign Ward Canyon Road near the Mares Bluff Memorial to eliminate a problematic horizontal curve.
4. Discussion/Action to request authorization to apply to the offices of Arizona’s Congressional Delegation for congressionally directed spending to fund the construction of a project to rehabilitate the eastern portion of the taxiway. Design is currently underway.

1. Clerk of the Board: Consideration of approval of expense warrants in excess

1. County Librarian: Consideration for approval to apply for State Grants In Aid (SGIA) funds of $25,000 from the AZ State Library when money becomes available in the State of Arizona budget.
2. Superior Court Clerk: Consideration of approval of employee transaction form:

4. Emergency Manager: Consideration of approval for the service agreement with Air Comm for the maintenance of Greenlee County’s radio communications sites, including our two (2) sites in Duncan, two (2) Clifton sites, Guthrie Peak, Rose Peak, Alpine, Glenwood, and microwave shot to Hoopes Hill on the FMI site in Morenci. This maintenance is critical for our radio systems throughout the county. Previously, this contract was with Canyon State Wireless for 4,953.00 per month.
